Strategy Planning Council Progress Report--March 2006

Council members worked during the past six months to establish committees, councils and other working groups. They wrote procedures and policies for creating project teams and worked with LITS and the Communications Committee to design wiki report pages for the committees and councils. They approved projects and monitored progress through a reporting structure devised by the Council.

In the next six months the council will continue to monitor strategic progress and create priorities for the committees. They will reexamine strategic goals to see if any course correction is required. In conjunction with the Digital Library Steering Committee, the Research Services Committee and the Metadata Committee, they will also look further into becoming a beta test site for Primo, Ex Libris’ anticipated online browser.
