Digital Library Advisory Board Progress Report--March 2006
The Digital Library Advisory Board is composed of faculty from seven different disciplines of the University and Medical School, along with a representative from the department of Innovation through Technology and the Center for Teaching, as well as seven library representatives and an undergraduate student. The group met in the fall. We displayed a “sampler” of digital services and collections already provided by the library, as well as some ideas for future services. We have been invited to present this information both to departmental library liaisons and at selected faculty meetings. We also met with the Center for Teaching to determine if there might be ways to work together to inform faculty about our services and gather information about services faculty want to see developed. The board meets semiannually, and their next meeting will take place in the spring.
