Known Issues:
- After upgrade to version 3.3, we experienced "first receipt of WF session not printing" issue. It is confirmed by other libraries. After the first receipt, it works fine until the client gets restarted. The recommended work-around from Sirsi Client care is to do a trash receipt at the start of the session, such as find and trap an existing hold when first log into the system.
- We have received several comments about a change in Acorn that was introduced in GL3.2.1. The change is an attempt to increase patron privacy. As a result of this change if a user uses the browser back button instead of the goback button in Acorn they will get a “page is expired” message. In some situations, this error message does not occur--due to the reduced security settings in the web browser (this is mainly in FireFox default security settings). Currently, there is no way to configure this to only work if a user is logged in or for some Acorn pages but not others. We have added the goback button to the bottom of the page to assist in navigation. If you need to do repeated searches, you may want to use Workflows since it also gives more information than iLink. DiscoverLibrary is another option since it keeps your search in the search box at the top of the page. We are always working to maintain the privacy and security of our users and at times these changes have unintended consequences. In this case we sacrifice some convenience for increased user security.
- Some diacritics are still not displaying correctly in Webcat. Most of these cannot be resolved until we go to Unicode. Some of these issues should have been resolved with the upgrade to 3.2.1.
