Agenda:

1. Review of DiscoverLibrary changes made recently:

• Turned off the automatic search when changing tabs • Reduced the options in the simple search box. All options are still available in the advanced search box (usability showed that most users didn’t look for options on a simple search screen) • Increased font size for “New Search” and “Advanced Search” • “Top Level” changed to “Show only” in the first facet • The facets at the top were removed

The DiscoverLibrary Production Group would also appreciate and suggestions on how to make a link to Acorn more prominent in a way similar to the link we have to DiscoverLibrary within Acorn.

2. Discussion about whether a system-wide online form for requesting reference consultations would be useful and/or feasible.
