• Members present: Nancy Boggess-Korekach, Marshall Breeding, Zora Breeding, Eileen Crawford, Mary Charles Lasater, Linda Tesar, Pete Wilson, Roberta Winjum. Absent: Catherine Gick, Teresa Gray, Annette Williams.

Series Processing Task Force Report: The interim procedures and Marcive have been implemented and are working well. The task force will reconvene when it is clear what PCC has decided to recommend to its institutional members. Mary Charles is going to run a report to capture numbered 490’s that have been missed in the last couple of months. Roberta will send a thank you note to the task force.

Possible Committee Member Change: Catherine Gick has resigned per her departure from the university. When a new music cataloger is hired, they will be asked to join the committee. Theresa Gray will be asked to remain on the committee. It was felt that representation from Special Collections was important .

Primo Update: Representatives from ExLibris will be on campus August 21 and 22. The Normalization Project Team will have further discussions with them about mapping. They have already asked that more fields be mapped and possibly additional icons. ExLibris has been very responsive to requests made thus far in the conversations.

Worflows Java Client training and migration: The training went well and Roberta received positive comments. The C client will be turned off October 31, 2006. Some staff members will need faster computers (on order) before implementing the Java Client. Roberta will notify Julie Loder that Pete Wilson will submit enhancement requests for our committee. Pete was asked to address the absence of the main entry in Java’s shelf listing procedure for his first request.
