Campus Planning is working on a project that will convert the basement of the Annex to usable storage for such things as their building plan cases to be deposited with the Archives. This project will provide for some needed space for other storage as well. Campus Planning will also undertake a planning study for replacing the existing out-building at the Annex with an addition that could substantially increase the storage available.
- Interviews for the Science and Engineering Library Director will be conducted in November and early December. A search for the Music Library Director will begin in December.
- John requested input on inflation factors to be used for the the library materials budget proposals for 2006/2007. Directors are asked to provide relevant figures for their disciplines to John by November 20th.
- Creation of a faculty delivery service was discussed. Law, Management and Peabody already provide such a service. A project team will be created to propose a system-wide service.
