1. Faculty Delivery Service: Jim Toplon The implementation proposal for the service was submitted to the LDC for approval. Jim needs to hire students, make some modifications to the library Web pages, and purchase some items (carts, book bags, etc.). Marketing plans were discussed; the rollout should intensify after students are hired and trained. The LDC approved the proposal and the expenses. The need for a scanner/copier for the Annex was discussed and everyone agreed on the need for this resource. Bill Hook will follow up on the subject and add it to the items submitted for consideration for reassessment funding.
2. LibStats: Sue Erickson LibStats is a freeware online statistic tracker that the Management Library is using. Sue asked if any other libraries would be interested in using the resource. Central, Law, Divinity, Peabody and Music will consider the application. Participants should send an Inform request to set up the resource. Directors of the interested libraries should send potential LibStats administrators' names to Sue Erickson.
3. TeleVu: Sue Erickson TeleVu is the Vanderbilt closed circuit network channel. Marshall has rigged a VCR, DVD and computer to the library’s hook up so that we can broadcast. Contact Sue if you have ideas of things to broadcast.
4. Fines: Bill Hook, David Carpenter Documents for a review of our fines policy were distributed and the discussion was postponed until our next meeting.
