    * VU E-Archive (20 min.)(Roberta)

          Roberta will do a quick demo of VU e-Archive as faculty might see and use it for adding documents. Future use and success of the e-Archive will be dependent on getting the word out, and all library staff who work with faculty will want to be prepared to inform faculty of this resource. In advance of holding information/training sessions and of talking with bibliographers, etc., we will be seeking library director support for these next steps.

    * Meharry patron privileges (5 min.)

          Meharry students currently have access to and borrowing privileges in the Biomedical Library through their Meharry ID. The Heard Library is being asked by the Vanderbilt-Meharry Alliance to extend library-wide access to Meharry students. Should we include borrowing as well as access.

    * Photocopier replacement (10 min.)(Bill)

          Aging photocopiers may need replacing, and Bill is working on a proposal to replace some and potentially phase out machines that may no longer be needed. He will be seeking directors' thoughts about numbers and locations. Information on copiers and usage will be distributed ahead of time.
