Shortened meeting.

Agenda:

• Discussion of TestIt and Usability project team charges and possible membership.
• Update on Digital Preservation White Paper charge.
• Primo development updates.

Notes:

• The committee had no further revisions of the project charges (now posted to the wiki). An announcement soliciting volunteers for the two teams was sent in the staff news letter. The general feeling was that we would until we have heard from volunteers to assign project leads for these two projects.
• Roberta reported that she had taken the committees suggestion that a white paper be developed about digital preservation practices and needs to Strategy and Planning. She will send the DLSC members a copy the the proposal.
• Roberta also reported that we are continuing to get information about costs for enhancement metadata for Primo.
• Jody reported briefly that we are working with a new instance of Primo and that it is not quite ready for testing.
