Present: George Anglin, Becky Atack, Celia Walker, Meredith Hammons, Yvonne Boyer, Kitty Porter (scribe)

Review of charge. Brief discussion of charge.

Action steps
Logistics and reporting – minutes will be taken on rotating basis and put on Communications team Wiki. Celia gave out password for doing so. This will be our reporting mechanism.

Identify stakeholders – faculty groups to contact determined: library advisory board, department chairs, library liaisons. Celia would see if there were mailing lists for the first two. After some discussion it was decided that the bibliographers might be the best source for the third.

Library directors – divided these up: George – Peabody, Kitty - Law and S&E, Becky – Owen, Meredith – Divinity, Celia – Music, Central – assigned to Yvonne who came late due to earlier commitment. Talk to them about what they are doing, how we might proceed without interfering in their efforts, get any suggestions they might have. Kitty will draw up draft messages to faculty and library directors for approval.

Locate comparable projects on web. Celia and Kitty had sent out some examples. Others will look for additional examples. Different types: Bulletin – general, user-targeted, i.e. faculty, grad student, etc.; bulletin subscriptions, RSS news feeds – general, individual topics to be chosen by user; blogs

Kitty will do a literature search and distribute results.
