Login instructions to the Worldcat Collections Analysis tool were distributed. There is a login for Vanderbilt’s subscription, set to expire October 2009; and a login for our ASERL subscription. Unlike the ASERL subscription, Vanderbilt’s subscription has administrative capabilities. This allows us to customize institutions, or groups of institutions, to perform comparative analysis. The ASERL access only allows analysis against OCLC predefined groups and those ASERL libraries who utilize the tool. Bill demonstrated how to use the software by showing an example of how he analyzed a subset of Vanderbilt’s collection against a customized profile, of multiple institutions, that he created. Upon request, Bill will create customized institutional profiles of our choosing. Team members can request these profiles by sending him a list of OCLC codes. Team members were reminded that Vanderbilt has just one seat to the Analysis tool, and it is helpful to logout, rather than close your browser. Thirty minutes of inactivity will end a session.

EBSCO is interested in feedback on their interface for their Digital Archives, now in beta release. Information is in the e-trials blog.

PalgraveConnect, another e-book platform, is now available. Libraries can express their interest in the product to Bill. Information is in the e-trials blog.

MyiLibrary patron-select pilot test is now over. The monies set-aside from the product were expended in the initial 6 months of the trial. We will continue the relationship with MyiLibrary through title by title selection, not through patron-select.

The e-book agreement with Duke University Press will not be renewed. We will continue to have access to the already purchased back-file.

There is a trial for SourceOECD, information is in the e-trials blog. Vanderbilt already has some access to SourceOECD content. Clarification about what exactly was being reviewed and how a new agreement would affect any current agreements is needed.

The proposal to piggy-back on to an existing University subscription to the Foundation Directory Online is still in process. The trial is available through the e-trials blog.
