The committee developed a plan for converting orders for electronic materials to a new set of electronic fund codes. The plan calls for each library (except Law) to create new fund records by the end of June in accordance with a numbering scheme that will be consistent throughout the system. Order records for non-periodical items will be the first to be converted to the new funds, and each library will reassign funds for its active electronic orders. WorkFlows reports on expenditures for these orders will assist us in budget allocation for 2007-08. In July Order Services will organize a team of staff members, possibly including staff from the libraries, to convert ejournal orders to the new funds and move order records for ejournals from print journal bib records to ejournal bib records where necessary.
