- Do not share your p-card, and keep p-card documents.
- Deposits should be verified by an independent party.
- Checks should be processed with an immediate restrictive endorsement.
- Transaction instruments (e.g. 1180s, purchase requisition forms, check request forms) should be in a secure location.
- password management
- software monitoring for proper software licenses
- Each library should have a policy and procedures manual.
If there are any questions regarding the proper handling of transactions, please contact Lisa.
3) In April, CAC made the recommendation to streamline the number of buttons available to a faculty member when the faculty member is logged into Acorn. Streamlining would simplify the process for requesting an item for faculty delivery. Below is a review of the changes, and the current state of the changes. CAC also recommends that two additional locations (Bk-Repair, Cataloging) receive similar treatment. Tracy will discuss these changes with Tech Force, and pending their approval, will submit a NetFix to implement the change.

Lastly, a NetFix request was submitted to restore the Kudzu button to records when a faculty member is logged into Acorn.
4) July 1 is the first day of the fine-free policy (except at Central and the Women’s Center). If you see any anomalies in circulation, please submit a NetFix to Tao immediately. Libraries are reminded to update their web sites if they have new policies.
Questions about notices from Tao:
- In the new version of Workflows, we can combine notices for users while printing separate reports for each library. Should we implement? Answer from CAC: Tentative Yes. Please create a sample for review before implementation.
- It is possible to include the library address on each notice. Some libraries do so, and some do not. Should addresses be included? Answer from CAC: Yes.
